Cynthia Domulot, originally from Hattiesburg, MS, has been performing as a pianist, clarinetist, percussionist and vocalist in the local area as well as throughout the U.S. and abroad for many years. She has been featured with her jazz trio, The Guffman Trio -co-founded with her husband- drummer Fred Domulot, at numerous festivals and venues throughout the Southeast.
Over the years she has performed with artists such as saxophonist Plas Johnson, the Hal Galper Trio, the Cab Calloway Band, bassist Steve Gilmore, former Stravinsky pianist and coach to the stars- Pearl Kauffman, pianist Elliot Finkel, vocalist/songwriter Billy Fellows, guitarist Ted Shumate, comedian/vocalist Jeannine Gardner, Stephen Sorrentino, James Brown drummer John “Jabbo” Starks, woodwind artist Charlie DeChant and Duke Ellington vocalist, Lil Greenwood. Before becoming a full time band/choral director she was a music director/band leader for Celebrity Cruises, which included performing with and arranging music for many guest artists on the ship circuit. She performs regularly for Jazz Society of Pensacola functions and has performed with the Pensacola and Northwest Florida Symphonies. She holds a B.A. in Instrumental Music Education, serves on staff at Ferry Pass Middle School in Pensacola, FL as a band and choral director, and works as a freelance studio session player. Cynthia previously accompanied the Gulf Coast Chorale in 2009-2010 and is now privileged to serve as conductor for the 2011-2012 season.

Her professional affiliations include Florida Music Educator’s Association, the National Association for Music Education, Florida Bandmasters Association, Florida Vocal Association, Florida Jazz Educators Association, Jazz Education Network and the National Educators Association.
